The Burn Luxury Inn was built in 1834 as a private suburban villa by John and Sarah Walworth. It is considered to be the first purely documented Greek Revival homes in Natchez. Mr. Walworth from New York became a successful mercantile owner, bank president and Natchez politician as well as wealthy Cotton Plantation owner. The Walworth family lived at The Burn for over 100 years and it has been one of the earliest and most successful Bed and Breakfast Inns since the 1970s. The elegant historic gardens were laid out by the Walworth’s English gardener. The former Garcineer or boys quarters is used for a historically decorated and comfortable guest house. Come visit and enjoy what our visitors say is an unbelievable experience with a fresh and delicious southern breakfast served to our guest along with all the amenities of a luxury inn including beautiful swimming pool.
